We walk the talk.

Spark the Dream is a 501(c)(3 ) non-profit organization established in 2012 with the purpose of helping African refugees and immigrant families to integrate smoothly into the American culture while maintaining that of their motherland.

We are using the principles rooted in the African cultural traditions to bridge the widening generation gap by inculcating the African social cultural values and traditions. Our intent is to enhance peace and solidarity in the families and the community to join hands against integration challenges and racial inequalities to navigate the American system successfully and smoothly.

Our Philosophy

Spark the Dream believes that to live is to learn, to learn is to grow, to grow is to give and to give is to learn. We believe that learning goes beyond numeracy and literacy to include the acquisition of cultural values, traditions, and customs of motherland and those of the homeland for gradual integration in the new system.
